“My godmother, who was an image of health, before being diagnosed with breast cancer, has had a tumultuous 2 years. She is on her last round of chemo, but to be honest, she is always the most positive person in the room and lights up any room with her smile. Even on the bad days, she maintains her joy and faith.”
~Chanell Angeli, cofounder of Manifest Destiny.
Proceeds from the Art Jazz Gala will also be donated to an artist whose mother was recently diagnosed with breast cancer. Angeli and Mario Reyes, author, poet, and host are on a mission to educate, motivate, and bring healing and expression through cultural arts.
