(ATLANTA, GA) The Alphas of Atlanta, Inc, a Metro-Atlanta nonprofit comprised of members from the area graduate chapters, is hosted their 7th annual edition of the #AlphaDerbyWeekendTM May 5-7, 2023 presented by Woodford Reserve.
This Kentucky Derby themed event is a destination benefit weekend series designed to support the efforts of nine (9) metro-Atlanta nonprofits and their efforts for service and outreach to emerging communities for elementary, middle, and high schools (to date, nearly $300,000 is donated to support these causes).
The weekend consisted of the opening day golf tournament (at Wolf Creek Golf Course in
Atlanta, GA on May 5, 2023). Check out a few of the esteemed sponsors (Anheuser-Busch/Atlanta Beverage Company, Volkswagon & Stanley's Cigar Lounge).
The kickoff party and concert at the College Football Hall of Fame (on May 5, 2023), which previous features classic hip-hop icons Doug E. Fresh (2018), Big Daddy Kane (2019), Chubb Rock (2019), and Slick Rick (2022), the main event at the College Fooball Hall of Fame (May 6, 2023) was #epic.
The Sunday Brunch (May 7, 2023 at the Omni Hotel), which has previous featured Trey Daniels (who is a previous opening act for R and B icon Anita Baker (2017-19)) was the culmination activity for the weekend.
